So today marks a month I've been without a job. Been the better part of 15 years since I could say that, and it's a weird milestone. At this point I can admit the job market is tougher than I thought. Either way I wanted to share with everybody the good, the bad and the funny from the last month.Good: I'm learning a ton. Finally got my AWS Cert which has been a year plus goal. There are lots of opportunities out there and I've had the pleasure of meeting a ton of great people. Working on my K8s Cert has been a fun challenge. Can honestly say I'm starting to figure out the things I don't know which has been humbling and beneficial. My yard looks pretty good!Bad: I found my limit for Udemy courses after 3 weeks of 3-6 hours daily. I deeply miss coding. Still a bit rusty with technical interviews, nerves get me every time. Having trouble tracking the places I have and haven't applied to. Keeping a positive mindset hasn't been easy.Funny: I now know why people make memes about myworkdayjobs sites.

Exciting news alert!🚀I just wrapped up an incredible Cloud Computing Internship Program 0.1 at Exlearn Technologies, under the guidance of Prashant S G , I dived headfirst into the world of cloud computing, Linux, and AWS administration. This internship wasn't just about theory; it was a hands-on experience that turned me into a pro in no time. I not only learned the ins and outs of AWS but also mastered essential tasks like managing EC2 for powerful computing and utilizing S3 for secure storage.I also delved into networking concepts like VPCs, laying down the groundwork for building strong and seamless cloud architectures.Armed with my certificate of completion, I'm all set to take on new challenges and soar to new heights in the tech world. #CloudComputing #AWS#Linux #TechSkills #CertificateOfCompletion#CareerGrowth

One truth to tell everyone that no matter how many certificate courses you do, if you don't have a source, you won't get a job in the right place. The biggest proof of that is myself. Till date I have applied to more than 100 companies with this. I didn't get a call from a company for an interview. I did not message to encourage anyone. I presented it to you with real experience. I myself am a B-tech engineer and CCNA, AWS certified. I haven't got any job yet. So from my personal experience, there is no need to spend money to do all these courses. Money does nothing but waste it. If I said something wrong, I apologize. I think that the job advertisem*nt media like Naukri, LinkedIn etc. are completely useless. They are nothing more than mere showmanship.

This year, I'm adding another certification to my toolkit, complementing my existing AWS and Red Hat credentials. For me, certifications are primarily about personal growth and enhancing my skills, not just a way to land a good job. They've structured my understanding of Linux, DevOps, and cloud technologies, validated my skills to employers, and demonstrated my dedication to my field. My journey with certifications has been more about personal advancement and preparing for future opportunities rather than a direct path to employment—I've been fortunate enough not to have to navigate the competitive job market much. So I decided to hear from those whose experiences differ. How have certifications helped your career? Did they open doors for jobs or help you grow professionally? I'd love to hear your experiences, whether they align with mine or differ.#professionaldevelopment #techgrow #certification #careeropportunities

Fast forward to today, he has accepted a well paid job offer as an AWS Cloud Architect (where Terraform was a requirement in which he was well-versed & certified)!Hop on to see his inspiring journey to know what he did to achieve this, learn from his mistakes as to what to avoid, take inspiration, and start working on sharing your big story next with us.See the comments for the video link ⤵️....#terraform #aws #cloud #cloudcareer #amazonaws #k21academy #motivation

Everyone aspires to add an AWS Certification to their resume, but not everyone is keen on completing those hands-on labs I understand. Watching tutorial videos, answering practice questions, and reviewing flashcards gives a feeling of progress. However, struggling through hands-on labs, encountering error messages, and experiencing continuous malfunction can feel less than motivating. Consider this - it's all those challenging aspects of hands-on labs that provide the most significant return on your development. Hands-on labs are the closest thing to real job experiences without jeopardizing anything in production. So, be sure to incorporate hands-on labs into your studies. You'll appreciate having done so in the long run. ♻️ Share this with your network.
