Bluegrass Community and Technical College (BCTC) is one of 16 two-year colleges in the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS), formed in 2005 by the consolidation of Lexington Community College and Central Kentucky Technical College.

The bursar's office is responsible for collecting and analyzing all student charges and fees, which includes tuition and student unions and health and dental insurance. The bursar's office is also responsible for areas including accounts payable, travel claims and invoicing and receipt of all payments.

Do you mean 40 credits, or 40 classes? Classes can vary from one to six credits at most universities, but most classes are three credits, meaning that they meet three hours per week. You do the math. That would be approximately 12 three-credit classes for 39 credits and one four-credit class for a total of 40 credits,.

Job Corps Scholars who are enrolled full-time (12 credit hours) per semester at one of BCTC's Fayette County campuses (Cooper, Leestown, or Newtown) or at BCTC's Winchester campus are eligible students to apply for special housing through our arrangement with the University of Kentucky.

BCTC has modern majors such as Digital Systems, Robotics, Electronics, Computer Programming, Networking, and Technology used in Architectural and Civil Engineering technical applications. Practical applications of medical and dental technologies are covered in a variety of Allied Health Programs.

Our office works hybrid schedule hours from 9am - 5pm Monday - Thursday and Friday 9am - 1pm.
