I really don’t understand the point of using paypal if they are not going to protect customers when they are scammed. I bought three shirts from this company, paid for expedited shipping and never received them. I filed a dispute with Paypal but now I am seeing that they scammed numerous other people but PayPal denied their claim. If they deny mine I am closing my account.

It is lucky you used your credit card for the purchase because the credit card companies will protect your purchase where as palpal will not.

Sorry to say, but this is in the case I did use my credit builder card through Chime and Chime will not refund my money. They said there was no fraud to be found but yet I still don’t have the product that I ordered and upon investigation I found out that this company has been scamming people using PayPal as a payment method Since 2021. Also when I checked out my receipts at $87, but when I received the payment it went through PayPal it’s at $105 that in and of itself is enough to get my purchase protection because I was charged something that was incorrect . I had and have my receipt from the site when I checked out using PayPal it says directly on their payment method PayPal $87. Thank you have a nice day but I show that the PayPal I showed up to my bank along with the receipt I received from PayPal in my bank statement where they took it out of my credit builder account and charged me $105 but they see no fraud or PayPal try working with the scammers ?

I have purchased something from this exact company as on my receipt shows that is the PayPal seller call my investigation. I have found that they have been fraudulently scamming customers by using PayPal as a payment method. My question is this and I might add I have not received a refund or PayPal has approved my refund which obviously they have approved others, but just not mine, and I still have yet to receive the product or even an answer from the seller beyond that fact, my question is this how is it that PayPal is allowing this seller to continuously scam consumers out of thousands of dollars obviously on a yearly basis because this has been going on since 2021 .

Beware this company! They pose as ‘Necessityt’ or ‘Frequenth’ on Facebook
I bought sandals and clearly ordered a 6, they sent a 7. They’re claiming that’s what I ordered and now I’ve actually found proof that I ordered the 6. I sent it to them and they’re ignoring it still saying that I have to pay the return fee and they will only give £4 refund (the sandals were £23) They are total scammers. I can’t even be bothered with PayPal refund having read all of this but I won’t be using PayPal again to buy purchases online.

Hi @Shortty1,
Welcome to the PayPal community. We are always happy to offer advice where we can.
I am sorry to hear that you no longer wish to use PayPal for your online purchases. When you open a claim with PayPal, the seller does not get to decide how much they refund you. If you have received something that is significantly not as described, then you can open a claim. You will be requested to return the item however once we confirm the item is returned, we will offer you a full refund. Please click here to open a claim.
I hope this helps,
Paula

Dear Paula
thank you for your reply. I have now already opened a claim and am waiting fir the result. If I get a proper refund I’ll continue to use PayPal for purchases but if not, I’ll be definitely thinking twice at least.
thanks again

Just FYI the scammers have of course made it harder to spot them. The latest I got nailed w/ were advertised on FaceBook, so yeah no more purchases from anything advertised on there. Whereas previously there would be something connecting back to Chinese companies now they are using American or English company names and addresses that of course fake. When you make the purchase the charges show up as a completely different company name in China and merchandise will never appear. Still going thru all the hassle with PayPal if that does not work credit card is next.
Oh almost forgot so the one purchase was a pair of Clark's shoes got charged the amount by two different Chinese companies and the one does maps supposedly.
Good luck

Chinese Web Sites or on Social Media ads easy to spot (once you know the below signs) so buyer beware.
1. No return address on the returns policy. The site will look as if its in your country (where they despatch goods from) but they will ask for returns to go back to China (returns depot) at a shipping cost often more than the item is worth.
2. No contact telephone number. if you click on contact the most you will get is webmail or an email address.
3. Rarely company address information.
4. Great pictures of items at bargain prices that turn out to be tat.
5. Fake reviews.
6. Google and you can often see previous company names as they change them once enough claims roll in and Paypal stop them using their services and start over.
7. Send fake tracking numbers to win item non receipt of item claims.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

For my investigation, there are 87 power sites on Facebook that are under lane base trading company. I have reported all of them but Facebook as of yet to remove them number Q there are way more than that if you just Google it if you Google land based trading company, and then/Facebook you will see there are hundreds more businesses. I’m getting ready to send a tweet to Elon [removed] with what I found out because he’s there is also a company operating under lambaste trading company that are actually selling Tesla parts isn’t on Facebook, but it is on Google you can directly Google it

Not sure who marked the advice on how to avoid scammers as a solution to pay pal not protecting consumers. Since pay pal did nothing I disputed through my bank. Never using them again for purchases
