My time at Point Loma Nazarene University was transformative and memorable in countless ways. From the moment I set foot on the stunning oceanfront campus, I felt welcomed and inspired by the vibrant community and the breathtaking views. The faculty and staff are genuinely invested in students' success, providing personalized attention and support that goes beyond academics.
One of the highlights of my experience was the close-knit community. The small class sizes allowed for meaningful interactions with professors, who were not just educators but mentors. Their open-door policies and willingness to engage in deep, thoughtful discussions made learning a deeply enriching experience. The relationships I built with my peers were equally valuable, fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie.

I love Point Loma Nazarene University! This school is the perfect size for people like me who want to feel settled and known and loved in their community. I love that I am able to be familiar with almost everyone who attents my school, and certainly with everyone in my year. Point Loma is beautiful, I adore the faith-based aspects of it, like chapel and spiritual renewal week:) I love this school and could not speak higher of it.

EXTREMELY disappointed with the announcement of Kerry Fulcher as the new president. As an LGBTQ+ ally I worry deeply for the safety, well-being, and sense of belonging my queer friends will lack because of his leadership. PLNU students had no say in voting for him—as I guarantee there would have been large pushback against him even being a candidate. Extremely disappointed and glad I am a senior graduating next year. Already planning on not accepting a handshake when I cross the stage.
